Just to prove a point that you don't need any individual champs to take the team title (although it does help).
4a - Scott City - number of champs 0
5a - KC Turner - number of champs 0
6a - Manhattan - number of champs 0
Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

Uh-oh...looks like Nigel a bit upset over Abilene not winning the title. Too bad big boy, they just didn't have it this year.

Nigel says look at the Regional which Scott City participated in.
Lets do!
1. Scott City - 109 pts. - Andale Regional 2. Abilene - 99.5 pts. - Abilene Regional 3. Goodland - 93 pts. - Abilene Regional 4. Columbus - 92.5 pts. - Coffeyville Regional 5. Ulysses - 83 pts. - Andale Regional
Of the top five (5) teams, two were from the Andale Regional and scored 192 points and two teams were from the Abilene Regional and scored 192.5 points.
Much to Nigel's dismay, there was parity.

lucas b baker, feel free to add a "swish" after that last post. That was probably the wittiest post ever to come out of Abilene. Welcome to the club.

Nigel, If the regional that Scott went to was easy and thats why they won, explain how the top 5 teams in 321A went to the same regional?

Richard, You have to admit that had some of the other 4a mid level to upper level teams attended that regional, that they might have taken say 10 or 11 instead of 13. I think we had 6 or 7 very good teams and 3 or 4 other quality teams. Clay Center 74, Colby 70, SFT 68, Marys. 46, Concor. 44, Wam. 33. I know there was a very good 52 pounder from Chapman who never made it. Wrestled his but off but couldn't get out. Also their 119 pounder didn't make who is darn good. Still don't know if it would have made a difference though.

Aaron I thought we (Clay Center) got 2nd in league. I know we only lost to Abilene in duals, so how did Chapman get 2nd?

"rocknraider" there was know big name thats why you call it a team championship i think abilene forgot that part and as for there manager that cussed at us what a sore loser. and just so you know we placed 7 people thats half a team come on now can you still say we placed that many because they had an easy regonal wait i thought you were the same people that before state said easy regonals don't make a state champion caliber team make up your mind

I just think you all need to stop talking crap on Abilene.. We have good wrestlers and thats the end of it. Aaron-- why do you constantly talk crap on abilene? you really need to get over that little dual! I'm sick of hearing an Abilene wrestler said this or that. If you don't like it don't take it to heart!!
