Attention Wrestling Community:
Just to serve as a reminder, Kansas has some great wrestling events coming up next week. It is too bad that they take place on the same weekend.
On Friday Nov. 1st, the Panthers of Neosho County Community College will be boasting their 2nd place finish at the NJCAA tournament in 2002 against in state rivals and probable Pre-season #1 team in the nation Colby CC in a home dual action. Neosho will be the probable #4 ranked team in the country coming into this dual. Colby CC's outlook is that they are looking for a national title this year, but so is NCCC. The dual starts at 7 pm in Chanute. Go to

Also on Friday Nov. 1st and 2nd, is the Annual Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Fall Clinic and Awards Banquet. The clinic will start at 3 pm on Friday Nov. 1st at the Holiday Inn-Salina and will run through Saturday. The featured clincians will be Shawn Charles (4x NCAA All-American, Asst. Coach at Nebraska), Jeff Prescott (2x NCAA Champion, Resident Athlete at OTC), Steve Fraser (1984 Olympic Champion, Head Greco Coach for USA), and Eric Guerrero (3x NCAA Champion, Asst.
