Does anyone else think Rossville will win the Shawnee co tournament. I do. I know Shawnee Hts probably is deeper but I think Rossville will take the title. My picks: 1-Rossville 2-Shawnee Hts 3-Seaman 4-Highland Park 5-Topeka West 6-Topeka High 7-Hayden 8-Washburn Rural 9-Silver Lake I am not sure how the lower end will shake out but feel confident the top 4 will finish this way.

I really think rossville can go out and perform well, but i still think the two teams to knock off will be shawnee hts and seaman. It can be done but it will take a lot of good wrestling.

Shawnee Heights took a big hit Wednesday night when Tim Schwerdt at 145 broke his elbow. He is out for the season. The terrible past is that it was his first match back from breaking 2 or 3 fingers right before Christmas Break. I hope he gets well soon. They still may have the firepower to win city. They have 4 or 5 kids that have the potential to win. We will see what happens tommorow.

Sorry fanatic, when I wrestled in that tournament it was only the city tournament. They only made a county tournament last year I believe, maybe two years ago.

Top to bottom it may not have been the best tournament, but there were 5 or 6 kids who have chances of being states champs there. I would hardly call that a crappy tournament

Fanatic, i think you forgot probably the best wrestler there, Tanner Gardner, 112 from Shawnee Heights, currently undefeated

No I didn't forget Tanner. I think Tanner has a great shot at #2 but as long as Schwartz is around I can't think Tanner has too good of a shot at #1. I will say again though that anyone can be beaten including Schwartz.

Most tournaments around the state have 5 or 6 kids in them that have chances to win state titles. we'll see how many of those kids in the shawnee county tournament win state titles. and the tournament still sucks.

When thinking about my post I want to explain. I think Tanner is the best bet to be in the top two. I think the others have a better chabce to win a title. I don't think any of them would necessarily be a favorite for a state title. If I was picking. I would give Hart or Lambotte the best chance.
