In past seasons the mighty "wave" would eventually greet all in attendance prior to the 4A, 5A, 6A final matches. Fans bored and wanting some action I guess. But a few years the finalists themselves started the famed "Indian Run" from the movie Vision Quest. The finalist circled up on the center mat and began to the greatful cheers of a State crowd who saw competitors coming together in the spirit of sportsmanship and fun. So, how about it all you State Finalist are you in? See you at about 6:20 on the center mat. Yes it is a challenge and why not make a great memory for you and all who come to see you compete.

Sounds like an awesome thing to watch, between then doing it and the pounding on the mat they do, it would be quite the spectacle

Wasn't that Sequoya's doing? That kid was sweet. He stayed out our house one night and my mom nows loves the kid.

That does sound like something Sequoya would come up with but it was Ryan Bohning and Matt Tatro that suggested it. We used to always do that warm up with Hutch before the finals of the tournaments that we were at with them.
