For fans in the eastern part of the state that want to take advantage of catching some Kansas collegiate wrestling:

Baldwin High School will host the Neosho CC vs. Labette CC dual on Tuesday, Feb. 4, starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $3 adults and $2 students. Baldwin is located about 10 minutes south of Lawrence.

Both teams are and/or have been nationally ranked this year (Neosho between 3rd and 9th and Labette as high as 7th). Both rosters have a good number of Kansas kids on them as well.

Contact me at (kharris@usd348.com) with any questions.

This will be a great dual to go watch. There is a lot of talent on both teams. They are big rivals as well, so you will see a show. Neosho has beaten labette twice this year.

I hope there is a good turn out for this dual. We have a good backing in this state for the sport of wrestling at the high school level, and need to support the few college programs that are still in existance. It has been fun following Colby Community College this season. I wish that I could have watched Hays wrestle at some point too. Best of luck to the Kansas college kids as they prepare for national qualifying.

The first time the Neosho and Labette wrestled the score was 22-20. Look for another good dual.
