Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Missouri Camp at Valley Center Update!!!

I talked to Coach Smith from Missouri this morning and enrollment for the camp is going well. There are campers from several wichita area schools committed to attend and I hope several reading this will want to attend as well. Here is the information for all who are interested:

University of Missouri Wrestling Camp

When: June 10th – 14th

Where: Valley Center High School

Coaches: Brian Smith – Head Wrestling Coach at University of Missouri
Bart Horton – Assistant Coach at University of Missouri
Lee Pritts – Assistant Coach at University of Missouri

Counselors: Several (8) members of the University of Missouri wrestling team.

Cost: $125.00 for the full week. This camp is for commuters only.

Missouri Wrestling Camp

Valley Center High School

Daily Camp Schedule:

9:00am - 11:00am Session I
11:00am - 12:00pm Lunch on your own
12:00 pm - 12:45pm Classroom Session
Nutrition
Stregnth/Weight traning
Mental Preparation
Goal Setting
12:45pm - 3:00pm Session II (Technique)

Wednesday there will be a Takedown Tournament during Session II.

Friday there will be a 2-1-1 Folkstyle tournament during Session II.

This time next week we hope to be in the middle of a great camp We have wrestlers of all ages, all sizes and all over the area pre-registered but there is still plenty of room for more.

If you are interested registration begins Monday morning between 8:00am and 9:00am at Valley Center High School outside the Gym. At this time all campers will need their $125.00 fee and camp registration form. (forms are available at http://www.MUTIGERS.com)
