Brandon Smith may be coming to 135. He is one of the best.

I figure that the West Elk 130 lber will be @ one of these weights he is a freshman, and from what I have seen has been holding his own at the High School level against much older compitition so he could be pretty tough after the HS season is over.

Not sure about those other kids, but Austin Jonas had his 2 years in 14 and under, he will be a 16 and under if he goes to Kid's this year.

BTW, anybody know what happened to Jonas in HS regionals? I see older brother Gavin and younger brother Frank both qualified for State, but I didn't see his name. Is Austin injured?

Richard: My bad..I just had it in my head that they were all bros.
Jim: Bryan is going to wrestle 135 at Maize, and 130 at Wichita. I guess he'll go 130 for State.
As far as H.S., he was 3-2 Varsity, I think...undefeated J.V. Had a few issues that kept him off Varsity most of the year...HAHAHAHA.
I can laugh, because he is my son, and I've been warning him for two years that he was going to have to change his ways when he got to H.S.

I think Todd Bell from Basehor is one best 135 wrestlers in the state.... He is very physical and very strong and as one of his wrestling parters he has is very fast and good moves...

Bulldog dad: Not sure what my son is going to do he wrestled 130 this season but was pulling weight because we have a very good 135lber my guess is he will be @135 so he isnt still pulling that much weight. we will see though he had a very good freshman season going through all the emotions of having to wrestle older stronger guys.He thinkd it will really help when he starts wrestling the jr high kids. What tournments or duals did your son wrestle varsity maybe we saw him. I know my son wrestled a Longbill from Indy during the season @ our dual, I know Indy brought their JV he also wrestled Camacho very good at Bluestem.

Jim: Your son wrestled David Loganbill @ 130, David will be at 16 and under 135 for State qualifying.
Funny, but I can't remember which double-dual Bryan wrestled varsity, I know they moved Camacho up to 135 to match up with the other team's stud, and Bryan filled the 130 slot. Bryan wrestled 130 JV at Bluestem, went 3-0 with 3 1st period pins.
Hopefully he can get his act together academically, etc. for next year. He was second only to Camacho in the 125-135 range on the team, and even gave Zach some moments on the practice mat, but just couldn't stay off the Coaches troubled list...grin
And thanks for correction, Coach JT, although that is an interesting euphemism for what I originally posted....LOL
