Maybe nobody. Marysville's wrestling team is in crisis. They just 'bought out'(fired) their wrestling coach Tuesday nite. Most of the team quit. ONE kid caused a huge problem.

Marysville's coach has been there a long time too hasn't he? What is up with adminstration in regards to wrestling especially in the NCKL. With the exceptions of Abilene, Clay Center, and Concordia.

Chapman has for middle school and high school combined only 1 head coach and 1 assistant, so when seasons overlap they have to get a retired coach to go with a team or in the case of JV the don't get to go to many tournaments because the lack of coaches and supposedly $$$.

Wamego got rid of their Coach of the Year and supposedly are trying to get rid of the program all together. After Scheideman and King leave, don't be surprised to see the demise of wrestling there.

Now Marysville...I just don't know what to think anymore.

This makes my blood boil ontop of the fact tonight at a freshman boys bball game some lady chewed out the Chapman Athletic Director stating that, "I can never find basketball results on TV or in the paper" when I told her to try to look for wrestling she replied, " I Don't give a dam about wrestling!" The AD shook his head in disbelief, even I had seen multiple Chapman scores for Basketball in the paper/on tv.

I guess that doesn't put them in a good situation for Beloit this weekend.

Just goes to show you.....

Title IX and School Finance Laws are killing a once great american tradition/sport, to make way for what? high school dance teams or other extra curricular activities? Dance is not a sport, give the money to the real sports so they can survive Title IX.

I know the situation and i'm not going to explain it! It's not in the need to be explained! I'm sure if Marysville wants it to be "let out" then they will do it themselves!
