Michael is at home in Kansas City and doing well after sustaining a neck injury at state. According to the family, doctors say he will be in a neck-brace for a few months during his recovery. No long-term debilitating effects are anticipated at this time. Huggysteve is in good spirits and is probably just frustrated that all the hard work he put in this year didn't culminate in a medal at the state tournament. He is a great young man who was working on becoming a very good wrestler. His mother expressed her thanks for the good and timely care given to Michael at the coliseum and, later at Wesley Medical Center.
