Does anyone know what happened to him and why he didn't wrestle at State?

I think it was last summer, Scott and some other students admitted to breaking into the school and stealing some items. So he was kicked off the team before the tournment, i just don't know what day it was

Okay Thank you, Why did they wait till the last week in February to take action on something that happened this summer? That was pretty bad timing.

I would think that if they knew a penalty was coming, they could have made it happen sooner.

Hey Shelstin,

The topic should have read Scott Miller-160#-DCCHS. He wrestles for Decatur County Community High School, aka Oberlin... not Dodge City.

Sorry in my earlier post I didn't clarify Oberlin from Dodge City. Thank you for making that clear A. Oncewas.
But I do think they should have punished him sooner rather than the week of state.

How do you think he would have done at Hays, had he not been kicked off?

Gotcha...had I taken the time to look at a bracket, my idiotic post would not have been written. As it is, I edited it to protect myself from charges of having an IQ similar to that of a box turtle.

No prob, Shelstin.

You may have inadvertently sounded smarter than you think. If I'm not mistaken the Miller family transferred from Dodge City some years back.

They useed to live in Dodge City, thats where is oldest brother Eric graduated from high school, the rest graduated or will graduate from oberlin. I think he would have placed in the top 4 maybe wrestling in the championship if Roe wasn't on his side of the bracket

A shame Scott wasn't there. I think he'd have had a chance to make it to the finals at 60. He without a doubt would have placed.

Yes the Miller's transplanted from Dodge City around 1996 or 1997. Scott is the last of the boys. As most know his older brother Brian was a state Champion at Oberlin. I figured he would have been in the top three anyway.

I remember a Miller kid wrestling for McBee at Dodge in the mid 90's, give or take a bit. Did one of these kids fit that profile? Dodge City was pretty tough when Brad was there. They didn't have huge numbers, but they always had a few kids challenging for titles.

Probably older brother Eric, he graduiated from Dodge City in 1995. I think he qualified and placed a couple times.
