The teams were selected yesterday at the KWCA meeting. The wrestlers that were selected are in the process of being contacted for confirmation. The lineups will be released as soon as the lineups are solidified...which will hopefully be soon.

The meet this year will be in Abilene on Sunday, March 19, at 3 p.m. The venue change is due to High School Senior Nationals conflicting with the weekend of Kids State. Next year, we are planning on returning the event to the Expocenter the night before Kids State.

Stay tuned.......

Hopefully the Small Schools have two 189 lb guys. I think Small Schools might hold their own in upper weights. I think lower might be Big Schools.

My guess is they are in the process of finding out which wrestlers can/will attend and offering positions to alternates where they have openings.

Yes, the coaches group is still trying to finalize confirmations from the kids who were selected. Many kids have turned down invitations, and alternates are being contacted. It can be a difficult process to put it all together.

I think the coaches are down to only a few weight classes that are still left un-finalized.

We will announce soon.

They were posted the other day. A lot of Big School guys we've all heard of. All though there was a small school v. big school match that had me scratching my head wondering who they were.

Looks like a lot of fun....for us SW Ks guys going to Abilene and KC a few days later for a flight out would be a lot of $$$.....I think that I will just watch most of these guys again at Nationals and see if the webcast works..

I will recommend some good eats in Abilene:

Brookville Inn- Reservations required...Great Chicken and all the fixings.

Mr. K's Farmhouse- great resturant overlooking the countryside...limited menu on Sundays, but great food....CHICKEN FRIEND STEAK IS AWESOME THERE!
