Are we talking about 8 year old boys? That sure is a lot of pressure (and hype) that these two boys have to live up to at such a young age.
On any given day anyone can be beat!

I'm sure all of these kids are great, but don't forget that they are just kids. The fact that so many people are worried about 8U wrestlers is alarming. My family knows Channing Williams from Coffeyville and wishes that he would move and wrestle for us. The fact is that he is a great athlete for his size, who excels in many sports. He does not just wrestle, but chose to play basketball with his friends until late January. If people think that winning a state title at age 8 is the most important thing, then this sport is in big trouble. I hope all of these young men grow up and are successful in school as well as athletics. I'm sure that they are more down to Earth at age 8 than most of the adults so worried about their record or next big championship.

Hunter Haralson and Caden Lynch (both of Sunflower Kids) will be at 8U 58 and/or 8U 61. Hunter has only been beat by Hood (they've swapped matches a few times).

Jalen Karber from Team Lightning and Paul Suhr from Valley Center are both good ones to look out for.

Who have Karber and Suhr lost to in Kansas? Or, have they only lost in National Tournaments?
