Annual Open Wrestling Tournament

Location: Missouri Southern State University (Leggett and Platt Center)

Entry Fee: $12.00 per wrestler. No refunds. Make checks payable to the Joplin Takedown Club
Admission: Adults $3.00 – Students $2.00 - Children under 6 - Free
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, February 13th, 2007
Email entries must be received by 10:00p.m. Late entries will not be accepted.
Age: Wrestlers age as of January 1, 2007
Weigh-ins: Saturday February 17th, 2007 - 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Leggett and Platt Center entrance
Sunday February 18th, 2006 – 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
No weight changes. Wrestlers must wear their singlets when they weigh in. For remote weigh-ins call.
Coaches Meeting: 8:30 a.m.
Wrestling begins: 9:00 a.m.

Division IV (12 & under) 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 150, 165, 190, HWT

The Joplin Takedown Club reserves the right to combine weight classes.
Tournament USA Wrestling sanctioned tournament. All wrestlers must have a current USA
Format: wrestling card. No cards will be available at the door. The wrestling will be double
elimination. Overtime sudden death will determine ties. USA wrestling rules apply.
The head official’s decisions are final. High School wrestlers are ineligible for this
tournament.
Length of Periods: Divisions I, II, III - 3 periods of 1 minute each
Divisions IV, and V- 3 periods of 1 ½ minutes each
Awards: Medals for 1st through 4th place
Concessions: Breakfast, Lunch, Drinks & Snacks
Entries: All entries must be received by e-mail in Microsoft Excel Format only. Please provide the following information in this order: Card #, Team Name, Competitors Name, Division, Weight.
