Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle who is tough at 16u 130lbs??

Who do you guys think are the top wrestlers at this weight class.

Annon from Norton, Gilliand from Hoxie, and I have heard that Earl Jones will be wrestling here as well. It will be between these three I think.

Not that Annon isn't good but he wont even palce!!

How would you know that? He placed 4th last year in kids state. Getting screwed out of winning it. He got 5th in state this year. He will place very high.

Like I said, I'm not saying that he is not good, I am just replying to the statement of him being top contender.
Here are a few reasons why he wont be:

Earl Jones-2x undefeated high school state champ
7x kids state champ(I think)
Matthew Gilliand-2x high school state champ
at least 1 kids state title &
two time runner up(maybe more)
Cody Lambotte-this years state runner @125lbs
multiple placer in kids
Mike Wilderman-5th in high school @130lbs
3x kids runner up(5x placer)
Jared Patterson-5th in high school @130lbs
1 kids state title,multiple placer
Lucas Geske-high school state placer
kids runner up
Brent Cagle-2x highschool state placer
multiple kids placer
Nick Zahm who was a solid 125lber in high school

Even though there is all those tough kids. I still think Annon will place. It doesn't really matter what you did in the past when it comes down to these tournaments.

Annon kiked the **** out of cagle at state for 5th and 6th.

I will admit annon is going to have to have a heck of day in state but i am almost positive he will get the job done down in topeka.

how did annon get screwed out of winning state last year he got beat in the quarters then got beat for 3rd and 4th

Lambotte is good....but i think it will be between Mat Gilliand from hoxie, or earl jones
