How about Jon Cook from Hays beating Whitehill in 5A 215. Cook giving up about 25 to 30 pounds.

What about 4A 140 pound 36-0 AJ Stephens from Goodland losing to an 11 loss kid from Chanute in the opening round. What's up with that?

That was a good match and I couldn't believe my eyes when Rockhold had Cox on his back. Rockhold also had a good match with Anderson in the quarters.

I did see that you had yourself a couple of good upsets too! Way to go, my dad wants to tell you way to go, he knew you could beat Hogan. Congrats on making the finals, now go out there and finish it.

They had it in the Salina paper today that the Andale coach was talking about some kind of flu or cold that is going around with all of their wrestlers. Don't know if it affected Cox or not but the coach did say that he wasn't feeling very well. Just an interesting note.

Terry Cox (Trent's dad and and Andale Assistant Wrestling Coach) will never make an excuse for a loss however Trent was running a 102 degree temperature in the morning and missed at least one day of school last week due to the illness.

Great match by Nick Rockhold.

You all are wrong!! Jack Wentzel over Goodwin (6A 103 Quarters) had to be 1000 to 1. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I don't think that was an upset, I think Evan shutting him out was!

5A 189 was stacked with those top 3 wrestlers. evans is a stud, i dont know if him beating anyone is a real huge upset, but i probably would have picked elliot.

Just to throw this out there, Whitehill wrestled at 215 this year but never weighed more than 195 so Cook didn't give up any weight in that match.
