Congrats to all of the Clay Center wrestlers, parents, and fans for winning the state championship in Salina. Congrats also to Kyle Allen for winning a state title beating Judd Schroeder in overtime. Three state titles for Clay Center in the last 5 years. Good job guys you wrestled well.

All the fans indeed...not only Clay Center's but some teams had traveled a good fan base to the event. I think the thing that shocked me the most although they are just a blip on the radar down the road is the high turnout for Smoky Valley's Fans in support of Baker in the finals.

Congratulations to Clay Center, your wrestlers and fans are awesome! As a longtime NCKL rival, you've certainly earned my respect over the years. The Smoky Valley fans were great along with many of the other schools there. In only our second year on our own(4A), it appears we have a good thing going and it is getting better.
