I don't see Hays's on the Calendar list of Tournaments... Does anyone know if they are hosting a tournament this year and if so what date it will be.....

The tournament will be March 3 at Gross Memorial on the campus of FHSU. The tournament is now called The Western Kansas Classic. Flyers will be sent out in the next couple of weeks or can be pulled up under the calandar section.

Our flyers went out this last week. If someone did not get one they can retreive it from the calendar section under tournaments. We will post the entries the week of the tournaments and look forward to another great tournament. We had over 900 entries last year.

This is the best tournament venue in the state outside of the state tournament. I encourage everyone to give it a try and forgo the horse barn down in Wichita. This should become the next premier tournament in Kansas. Hopefully some Co, Ne, and Ia kids will venture down.

Will,
The first thing they will have to do is list their entries and this will help this tournament along. Good luck to your boys, see ya at state.

Will, Thank you for your support. We will get the entries posted after our deadline and we receive most of the entries. We have already received several entries from teams in District 1 and 2 that have not come in the past. As stated before, we had over 900 entries last year with some excellent wrestlers. We will power bracket this year and include B brackets in the weight groups having more then 16 entries. Also, Cody Bickley, FHSU wrestling coach with have his national qualifiers present to meet the entries. Good luck to all entries and we look forward to seeing everyone on March 3.

It is in one of the outbuildings at the Colliseum in Park City! I personally enjoy this tourney!Lots of good competition and It is easy to see each mat. No nose bleed section! Any way good luck wherever you go!

We hope to post the entries by Wendesday. We are waiting on a couple of clubs to send their entries. We have 877 total entries to date. We will still take entries till Tuesday evening when we start to bracket. No weight changes will be accepted after Tuesday evening.

If I read the earlier post correctly, they said they would post them after Wednesday - they are not doing brackets until then --
