I am not a business man, but if it cost 24k to rent the colliseum for the TWO DAY state tournament, does that mean it is 12k a day?... At 20 an entry and possibly upto 1000 or more entrants, plus concessions, the gate fee, and vendors fees...your banking...this tournament could eventually be considered a National with the right facility. Wichita and Park City benefit ...everyone wins. Also, I have never ran a tourny and I don't know how many entrants are coming tomorrow...but at 20 a head, where does that money go? All towards the renting of the barn and payment of the officials? The plaques?
These are just some thoughts running through my mind, if you don't agree with them or care...just let it go.
