As far as Pyle Vs. Nay, I would say more than likely team points.

Putting undefeated wrestlers together might look good on paper but I'm sure the committee knows who the best wrestlers are.

My opinion, it takes away from this event if you don't match up the best wrestlers.

Thats what we all come out to see (at least on the Missouri side)

New prediction after line-up change:

I have MO up 28-18 with 4 toss-ups. That is even giving MO 12 points for 215/285. I think Payne has a chance to save KS points. The toss-ups are 119, 135, 171 and 189. If KS gets 3 of those 4 and Miller or Payne can hang in there, it could be the start of a streak for Kansas.

KS/MO
112 - 6-0
119 - ?
125 - 6-6
130 - 9-6
135 - ?
140 - 9-9
145 - 9-12
145 - 9-16
145 - 12-16
152 - 15-16
160 - 18-16
171 - ?
189 - ?
215 - 18-22
285 - 18-28

In the 4 toss-ups that are listed above, Missouri has the upper hand in weight on 3 of the 4.

119 - Hogan was the 125 state champ.
135 - Neske got beat by Joiner 12-5 in the 140 finals.
189 - Shippy was the 215 state champ. Can he get to 196 with no problem?????

Keep in mind, Corey Carr (130) is a 2x state champ and lost to O'Donnell in the state finals 5-4....and Kendall Burke (160) is a 2x state champ.

Shippy was a small-ish 215 lbr. His school had a good 189, and went up for team purposes.

Are you suggesting Bradley will pin Payne? Uh oh, watch out for the wrath of Caleb.....

I would think you'd see a pin @ 215 for MO b/4 one at HWT....

They also weighed in last night so with them getting 7 lbs, and having a day to refuel, I'm sure the kids will be big.

Shippy is STRONG STRONG STRONG

I totally agree that 215 is much more likely to hurt KS. If Payne hangs with Bradley, I'll be high fiving half of the gym!

That is probably close. If KS won at 160, it would still be 21-33. Hudgins staying close to Nay would make it 21-31. Almauger beating Carr would tighten it up to 24-28. Walker winning at 119 puts KS back on top. A lot of what if's....

It seems like $7 or so. I'm really looking forward to this great event!

Great win tonight boys. All I heard for the past year was how good this Missouri team is supposed to be. They were good, but we were better. You guys made it alot easier to be a Kansan living in Missouri tonight. Thank you for that.
