I was wondering who has been the best leg wrestler anyone has seen. I know the best I ever wrestled against was Charlie Huehl from Lincoln.

No doubt about it, not even close. Rory Chjoy, St. Francis. He was an artist with the legs. Once he had them in they never came out and he always got them in. I didn't spell his name right, I never could, but he was unreal with the legs. Was an all american at UNO after that and he never saw the kid he couldn't strap the legs to. I can't even think of a close second to him.

Rory Cahoj lived across the street from Stan Faulkender!!!!! Is that spooky, I guess we need to move more boys into those houses. Rory was the only guy I have seen who could put both feet behind his head (almost with out using his hands) then walk around on his hands with his feet still there. Rory wrestled at UNL not UNO. Rory was the best I've seen, I can remember Stan but not well enough to compare.

well i cant remember a name but a wrestler from baldwin a few years back pinned my brother with a leg ride in the Tonganoxie tournament finals at 140.... but the reason im mentioning him is because he had no arms and he pinned his way through the tournament

Lance Shepard was pretty good. He was one of the few hoxie kids from that era who didn't just stall with the 2-on-1.

A couple of others to mention-Jerry Lorimer from Atwood (1974) and Bob McDaniel from Oberlin (1978).
I had the fun time of being able to wrestle both McDaniel and Rory Cahoj-Rory could get the legs hooked up better, but McDaniel had a lot more leverage and created more pain!
Lorimer could get in the strangest places, but did not lose control, and usually ended up with a pin.
