Any thoughts on grade vs birth year. I think if they are going to break it out by year then they should just go on birth year or years and not by grade. Every other off season tournaments are done by age. Just looking for opinions.

I disagree, first and foremost I personally do not like the fact that they have added grades 1-8. This was the time for the high school wrestlers to show their stuff in front of college coaches, but now I wonder will the coaches even attend now that there is alot of little wrestlers. This event was originally for high school freshman - seniors, it should not go to the same type of tournament as Tulsa Nationals or other kids tournament format..... Good luck to all wrestlers attending.

I think seating and bathrooms are going to be an issue with the addition of all the new grades. I guess we'll see.

I would call and tell them you need to change weights and accidentally submitted the wrong weight.

I love kid's wrestling, but they have enough tournaments to show their stuff...we need at lowest to go a middle school (7-8th grade) division. I know of a lot of college coaches that are turned off by this, although good for the sport in someways it is a recruiting nightmare.
