If the truth was known the money is probably spent at a Waffle House some where in the five state area! In all reality the first and foremost allocation is to completely eliminate any out-of-pocket expense incurred for the student/athlete… equipment needs, entry fees, transportation, food and lodging to events in their schedule. These kids are broke college students and the student shouldn’t have to spend any personal money to represent their school. Secondly to cover any cost that the Coaching staff (these guys are volunteers) may incur while on the road. Third on the list is to provide resources to promote wrestling within the student body and administration at KSU with the hope that some of University moneys will trickle back in to the form of tuition relief and books. Last and not least you got to move money to make money! Our ultimate goal to reinstate D1 Wrestling at KSU… there are many ways that have been discussed on how to achieve this dream, but ultimately it’s going to take cash and lots of it! So if you have an interest in helping these young people out or have any questions about the legitimacy of this endeavor please contact Ron Tacha (KSU Alum and former KSU D1 wrestler).
