Congrats District 4 on your Folkstyle season! Are you ready to make a name for yourself in Kansas and across the country?

Contact your local club for more information on a practice coming to your area. Great Bend, Pratt, Garden City, Scott City, Gray County, Hoisington, and other clubs are working together to bring out the best competition in our District. Workouts will be scheduled in your area.

We have a great opportunity to grow our numbers in the summer styles with Southern Plains in Hays and local tournaments in the works!

Lets make a splash this summer. Watch out for District 4!

Great Bend will host a Freestyle and Greco Roman Rules Clinic. Larry Perez, Kansas standout and UNK Freshman, will present the FILA rules USA Wrestling has adopted. He will discuss mat etiquette and official interpretations covering the push out, winning periods, and various other strategies based on these interpretations.

It will be held on Thursday April 19th in the Washington Elementary Gym located at Lakin St. and Washington St. in Great Bend at 6pm. Please contact me for any further information.

7:00 pm at the NCHS wrestling room.

Great Bend Area Team has over 20 wrestlers already confirmed and we start practice Tuesday 17th! Many more verbal committments. We welcome anyone with a USA Card. Our team is willing to travel to get in a workout. Contact us to see if we might be in your area.

Don't Forget! Larry Perez of UNK and possibly Jeff Rutledge (2X National DII All-American) will be in Great Bend April 19th Thursday at 7pm for a Rules/Technique Clinic. USA card holders with workout gear welcome at Washington School Gym at the corner of Washington and Lakin.
