Any thoughts on grade vs birth year. I think if they are going to break it out by year then they should just go on birth year or years and not by grade. Every other off season tournaments are done by age. Just looking for opinions.

I disagree, first and foremost I personally do not like the fact that they have added grades 1-8. This was the time for the high school wrestlers to show their stuff in front of college coaches, but now I wonder will the coaches even attend now that there is alot of little wrestlers. This event was originally for high school freshman - seniors, it should not go to the same type of tournament as Tulsa Nationals or other kids tournament format..... Good luck to all wrestlers attending.

I think seating and bathrooms are going to be an issue with the addition of all the new grades. I guess we'll see.

As a mom, I would prefer to see birth year as opposed to grade. My son was excited about getting to wrestle other kids in his grade only. Unfortunately, I think we could be facing other kids who are older also, and for one reason or another, are classified as being in his same grade.

I just saw on their website that if you want to be listed in the program book and your name to be included on the back of the official Brute tee shirt, the deadline is tomorrow, Friday, 3/30.

Looking for assistance at the Brute Nationals table workers needed for two tables remember you will be there all day anyway so come give a couple hours of your time and you could be put on our list Olathe hosting two mats. This could possible reduce your entry fee into this event for a worker please let me know ASAP.

I've made this a "sticky" topic so it will be at the top for awhile!

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

$60 to enter one kid.
$35 for one person to watch the kid.
$40 to get a coaches pass.
$5 for a bracket.

Just wondering if anyone else felt the same pain?

I thought it was way to much, but I desided to stay home and let the coach take my son. We had company from out of town. It Cost way too much for all of us to go. :~(
