Jeff Sheets Kids Executive Director has formed a Committee to look at the current by-laws and recommend any changes that need to be made.

Memebers of the committee are: Jeff Sheets, Ned Price Asst. Director, Richard Salyer Parliamentarian, Lee (Tuff) Hemreck Dist. 1 Director, Jess Keith Dist. 2 Director, Lance Engel Dist 3 Director, and Steve Woody District 4 Director.

I make this post so that the state body can also have some input in this process. Take some time to read the current by-laws and post suggestions. If you you not feel comfortable making a post then contact one of the above.

Committee memebers will not get in to a deabte on this forum, but I promise you I will get you updated as I can with the committee's progress.

Here is a chance for you to make a difference in Kansas Wrestling, and remember there our no bad suggestions!

Ned Price

Ned,

I have started to review the bi-laws in detail and will provide comments/suggestions soonest.

I would like to confirm that I am looking at the most current documents.

From the "Rules" section of USAWKS.com

1). Kansas Kids' Constitution (as of 9/1/2002) and
2). Kansas Kids - Summary of Rules Modification

Are there any other supporting documents that would help with a review of the bi-laws such as "articles of incorporations".

Thanks in advance,

Mike Flynn

Does someone have a copy of the letter I sent to Jeff Sheets with all of the suggestions?

USAW Kansas will support place winners 1-6 in the Kansas Kids Wrestling Championship that want to compete the USAW Folkstyle, Freestyle, or Greco Nationals by reimbursing their entry fees upon documentation of their competing in the tournaments.
