I believe that satellite weigh-ins could be done with integrity by having a High School AD verify weights with a signature. Having grouped the weights all season, this would still be a step-up in equity. The one-day format is great, especially with the turn-out that we have been getting.
On another subject, I know that there was a lot of lively discussion about the camp requirement for Southern Plains. I was in favor of the camp being voluntary. However.... I actually like the idea of making the State FS/GR tournmament mandatory to wrestle at Southern Plains. Any way that we could increase participation at the State tournament would be helpful. It would also firm up our National dual teams.
