Every year someone gets a brutal draw. This year, it was Steve Andrus's turn. Steve lost his second match in Greco!

Doxon pins to win!

Daniel "Dapper" DeShazer will settle for fourth place! It was a tough battle but Ryak Finch of Arizona was victorious.

I really don't know if there is a live feed! If there is, you can probably find it through themat.com.

The team points are based on the position the AA's finished. They have given points for current placements. So the kids that are wrestling for 7-8 each get 1 point. I assume the winner will get an additional point. If you go to track wrestling and click on the team scores link you will see the point standings currenlty. Then if you click on the individual teams you can see who scored points and how many.

Lehmann takes the first period in large part, because he was awarded a point for countering Jordan's head-and-arm. In the second Jordan hit the throw for 3 but again Lehmann countered and earned the fall.

Jordan Brown, 4th place, is an All-American!

Detmer v. Curby for the National Championship! It's a battle of position early as 1-minute expires. Detmer wins the flip. Curby's defense is sound and he gains a point. Detmer is defending well and scores the last point of the period.

In the second, Kyle gets the double overs and scores 3. Curby reverses for 1. Back on their feet! Detmer scores a single at the end of 1-minute. Detmer leads 4-1. Kyle grinds but doesn't take too big of a chance. The score is 4-2. The last 30 seconds Kyle wins!!!!

I apologize but I had a young man to congratulate!

Kyle Detmer can add the 2007 Cadet National Champion to list of accomplishments!!! But on my way to give some love to the wrestler, I had to stop and give some to a Father!!!

I agree. 64-5 in his first two years of High School, a dominant State Championship and now a Fargo National Greco Championship!

It's Kyle Caylor's turn in the barrell. Kyle is pitted against Alex Polizzi from Wisconsin.

In the first frame the combatants were locked up and Caylor scores first on the pushout. The whistle blows, Caylor is on top. Caylor lifts, settles, reloads, and tosses Polizzi for 5!!

Second frame, there's no score at the end of the first. Caylor wins the flip. This time he lifts and throws for 3. The final 30 seconds. Caylor is down. Kyle gains his feet. 10 seconds, 5 seconds ... Kyle gets the throw ... and is a National Champ!!!
