Tough draw for Danette but she will bounce back. Nate should be okay against a tough kid in Rupp but Taylor is tougher than shoe leather. Great job by my friend from Lansing Dennis "Zeke" Wood. He is just starting freestyle and Greco and to win matches on a National level is very impessive.

Riojas is on the big stage!
First minute, scoreless. Riojas wins the flip but couldn't manage a turn. Riojas got turned to give Bullins from North Carolina the period. The second period starts the same but Bullins wins the flip. Cameron is cautioned on the start and gave up a turn. Down 0-4 Riojas gets his turn but can't score. Riojas is eliminated.

Gallegos is two-time State Champion out of Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver, where he finished with a 125-11 prep record.
He won State as a junior and senior, having previously finished second in 2005 and fifth in 2004. Gallegos was also a 2006 Junior Nationals All-American, finishing seventh.
