Chief, that's a great effort on that list. It's so hard to predict what classes guys ultimately will fall into, especially with a lot of talented new faces joining the high school field this season. I applaud your effort.

James Wauer (Washington) has a great chance of placing at 112# HE defeated both Dakin(Emporia) and Ralf Salas at kids state last year. This summer he defeated two high school state finalists at the sunflower state games. First off he beat Derrick Weller(2nd place 4A 103) by the score of 4-3. Then for 3rd place James defeated Tyler Stokes(state champion 5A 103) by the score of 15-3

103-Caleb Seaton from Bonner-will be tough and I am guessing will be ranked by year end. A 5x kids state champ who is up over 100 pounds now. Tough to tell at 103 with so many Freshman at this weight.

112 is definitely stacked. Those are some great wins. I'll add him to the list. Was Sunflower pooled weights this year?

At the sunflower state games I believe the class division was 15-18 year old 120# Nash Burtin a two time state champion from Eureka Ks placed 1ST and a kid from MO Kurt Strope placed 2nd

Yes, Sunflower had pooled weights. For instance, in one bracket the wrestlers weighed between 186 & 208 or close to that range.

Elliot should be AC...I called six people trying to figure out if he had transfered.

Turner graduated Hanson and Bland, while Blasevic transferred to Olathe North. They had no other wrestlers over .500 last year. Jason Langford has the best chance of placing at Turner.

Penka would be big 103 pounder, couldn't make 100 for the SB team last summer. He did make it for southern plains and FS/GR nationals, but was cutting hard. He had to cut to make 105. I doubt he can be hydrated at 103 to past the test. I think Dylan is a great kid, but 103?

That's the difference between "Good Teams" and "Good Programs" Programs endure the highs and lows of talent fluctuation.
