This is a total guess on where the weights will end up. I am sure that I am also leaving out plenty of tough wrestlers, but thought this wasn't a bad starting place with a look at the 07-08 season.

I would include Tyler Downs from Derby in the medals at 215. He was injured last year, but I hear he is not playing football this year so he can focus on his senior year of wrestling.

i see furches going 119, and i see maple getting 2nd...... im trying to figure who else is in that 103....

and greenfield has talked about not cutting ANY weight, at all... so that, and brian cain could be thrown in at 160, and hasnt bonewell graduated yet??

been looking for someone to start ranking high school kids and I can say your off to a very good start

Am I missing something about Wichita Heights?

Nice job and a lot of good work Eric. A couple of names to remember in 6A will be Kiegan & Dalton Stanley of Washburn Rural. They will fit in great to a team that has a good solid core (Hladky,Leeds,Biswell,Dougan,Wortham, Zach Smith,the Farmer twins,Deere & Pryor) kids returning.

Chief-
As you are well aware State Champs earn more points than state qualifiers. I forsee Wichita Heights having a couple of Champs. What you are missing is the new addition to their coaching staff and the fact that they have been seeing a lot more freshmen with prior wrestling experience. Not that the experience matters... I believe their Champ from last year was in his 2nd year of wrestling EVER. I am in no way a Heights supporter, my heart is with Wichita South. I just find it hard to believe with the talent and additions them finishing 9th.

I hear you BH. I was expecting that Dapper would be wrestling at Heights this year. That would give them a real shot at 3 finalists. It will be interesting to see Nelson and Maple wrestling at higher weights though. I know they won't make 112 and 119 again. I listed Chase at 119, but he could be as much as 135. I will get a good look at them early when they come to the SM East Duals on December 1st.

i saw his dad in lawrence this summer, and he said logan was at like 127

also in that 103 you might want to throw windham in there... should of placed last yr... lost in the last 2 seconds to ruiz.

chase is goin 125v an kendric 130 another kid to watch out for is cj jonker he did pretty good last year but he was out due to injury

I am pretty sure that Bryant Petty graduated last year, he went to Senior Nationals, and I believe he attends KSU. So 160 might need to be realigned.
