Anthony Thayer of Neodesha(in co-op with Fredonia), should be a good one if he goes out. He's an athletic freak, and two years ago was state runner up in Kids wrestling. The problem is he didn't wrestle junior high last year.

Cass Steele is a tough wrestler, but he might have a hard time competing at 189 lbs considering the fact he placed 2nd @ Kids State weighing 90 lbs. Gaining 100 lbs in one year may hurt is mobility.

Thomas Durham-Fredonia (152-171) Michael Vander Linden-Burlington (103-112) Colt Skillman-Burlington (103-112) Thomas Lowe-Eureka (215-285)
I believe all of these freshmen could place at state before their high school careers are over. I think Vander Linden and Durham have both placed at kids state. Skillman and Lowe both placed at Brute Nationals. I'm not sure on the weights for them but I did the best I could.

Derby will have some freshman trying to make an impact. I can count at least 7 freshmen coming into this year that I believe will place at state throughout there 4 years of high school wrestling. I would hope that at least 2 of those 7 will make an impact in the up and coming season.
Skyler McComb has decided not to play basketball and will wrestle this season. He has won state the last 2 years since putting basketball on hold for wrestling. Derby wrestling will be strong with or without the freshman but hopefully some freshman can contribute to the success.

Wasnt aware Skyler was leaning towards b-ball, but glad to know he made the wise decision and will expect him to contribute to Derby's success!

That group should help Lansing. Looks like a top 5 finish for them this year,
112 - Wood 119 - Blew 130 - Terron 135 - Scanlon 145 - Baughman 152 - Flynn 160 - Hinckley 160 - Wessell 215/285 - Terron

I forgot about Strouhal. If you just could have gotton Cokeley, that team would contend.

From last year's bracket info, Appleget is a junior and Demerest a sophomore. Is Bo getting closer to High School? It seems like he's been wrestling for 10 years. Is he in 7th grade?

Bo is in 8th grade at Lansing although he is the age of many 7th graders. He just turned 13 before school started. And you are close, this year will be his 9th year wrestling and he seems to love it more than ever.
