A group of us has been working on a proposal for Kansas State University to add wrestling as a varsity sport. Yesterday we reviewed our final draft in Manhattan. It is currently 31 slides that cover the following topics:

The Current Cost of Not Having Wrestling.
Why Wrestling.
Why Kansas State University.
Big 12 Conference.
Kansas Wrestling Overview.
Kansas College Wrestling.
KSU Wrestling (Club, Varsity Team, Intramural).
Title IX Analysis & Women’s Sport Analysis
Supporting Agencies
Financial estimates will be included.
We hope to begin official briefings with the Athletic Department soon.
If they choose to add wrestling, we expect to have to assist the university with funding the program. Mitch Beims (former Colby Coach and current Holton AD) is going to lead that effort with Brad Johnson from Manhattan.
I'll post periodic updates and calls for volunteers as needed.
