I am not sure who the 5A rankings coordinator is but if they don't like doing it then lets get someone else.
Tyler Stokes 103 Gardner-Edgerton 5A 11th 1st 1st
Dennis Wood 103 Lansing 5A 11th 2nd 2nd
John Keller 103 Bishop Carroll 5A 12th 3rd 3rd
Kash Biddle 103 Ark City 5A 10th 4th 4th
Ralph Salas 103 Liberal 5A 11th 5th 5th
Blaine Smith 103 Salina South 5A 10th 6th 6th These are the 103 pound rankings. Stokes - 112 Wood - 119 but hasn't set foot on the mat this year John Keller - 125 Raph Salas - 112 I believe but hasn't set foot on the mat this year Kash Biddle - 119
Dylan Penka, Caleb Seaton, Adrian Salas should all be considered.
It just seems to me if they are going to be that far off why do them at all?

I recieved the updated rankings this morning and see none of these kids at 103.
I think it is better to talk to people rather than about them.

This is a thankless job and Peter has done a great job for the past several years. From my experience, the wretlers who are on the poduim at the end of the season, didn't get there because of accurate rankings in December.

Coach Shelton if you received the "new and improved" rankings please share them because the ones posted are far from relavant and far behind the pace set by all the other classes.

It was Adrian Salas at 103 Ralph's younger brother and Ralph has a injury to his shoulder and should be back to wrestle at the Garden City tournament if everything goes right at 112.

Adrian has wrestled 103 and 112 but will be at 103 for the rest of the year. Adrian and Ralph also competed at the Freestyle and Greco-Roman Dual Championships in Kansas City in the summer.

Coach, We all understand and appreciate the thankless and challenging task that the rankers have. As stated, the wrestlers on the podium are not there due to accurate rankings. In turn, they are not there due to a quality wrestling forum or due to accurate and timely posting of results. All of those things do contribute to the promotion of the sport and to the excitement level of it's fan base. The accuracy of those rankings depend on more input. I say, keep the input coming in and assign the duties of maintaining rankings to someone who has the time to devote to it. Nothing at all personal, as those rankers (certainly Pete) are well respected in our wrestling community!

All they are ask for is to post them on the kwca page were they go. It not a thankless job, but don't take it if you do not have the time to do right. they were bad last year on posting them to!

Not sure Biddle could beat Nitcher @ 119. Nitcher is 19-0 and looking really good this year.

Is Wood done for the season? If so that is to bad. What a terrible loss for Lansing. A true quality wrestler and even more a quality individual.
