Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle dist 2 official should be disqualified

I think its bad that a certain official had to be asked to leave one gym and to go to another gym because he was not doing a good job, In fact I believe it was because he apparently does not know what control means in a match. I had seen 3 kids lose because he messed up and another almost lose because he failed to award the points again. Luckily the last wrestler was ahead enough the he survived the match. I would also like to mention that those restrooms should be cleaned the custodians said they would not clean until after the tournament was over.Way to go Matt (the official that caused 3 unfortunate losses)

District 3 overall did a great job on their tournament. However, there was one ref who I seriously think had been drinking (just the way he acted and the amount of time NOT watching the mat, but gazing up at the stands), and the fact that for such a large building there was NO seating. But I felt the tournament ran smoothly and I commend those who put in the vast amount of time to make it work.

There was another official that was working mat 8 that I had not seen before but I really liked. He was the one that not only motioned points with his hand but would shout out the reasoning for the points. I found it very helpful and entertaining. Good job!
