I remember this coming up years ago at Piper, and the solution we used was having no match, splitting the team points and declaring each kid as third place finisher. I know that's not according to the rules, but it seems more fair than what we're doing now. It's not that kid's fault that's coming up on a sixth match that that's the way the bracket worked out.
Another solution would be to only wrestle for true fifth and guarantee all semi-finalists are no worse than fourth. Just never been a fan of the forfeits.
