No way, the rankings are an exact predictor of how kids will finish at the state tournament. In fact, we might as well just get rid of the regional & state tournament all together.

Wow, I am beginning to sound like Salyer.

This might be news to the people that do the 4A rankings and others but Royal Valley had a wrestler move in from Iowa and He will win State at 285 this year, He was the number one wrestler where he came from which was Iowa and any body that has seen him wrestle will tell you so.

What is his record this year in Kansas? I don't see any results for him in any tournaments this year. If he hasn't wrestled yet, then he probably won't get ranked if no one has heard of him.

I know his first match was against the Holton HWT to decide the dual. RV was down by 6 in the dual and he was ahead by 9-2 or something like that when the Holton kid was teched out for stalling as the final buzzer sounded. Really big controversy, but I did hear that the RV kid looked pretty impressive. I heard he moved in three days before the dual.

Grandad that statement that he WILL win state this year might be a little overboard. Have YOU seen him wrestle? I have heard that he is good, but not ready to crown him the champ yet. I was wondering about the eligibility of this kid just moving into the state. How did he do his certification?
