Are there any other wrestlers out there nearing the career wins record of 166 currently held by Kenneth Livengood of Blue Valley North?

All records can be found, by the way, at:

I just did the math, and his record was 162-18. Pretty good, so he definately would have at least shared the state record if not broken it by one or two.

Just to correct the season records Tyler McCormick completed the 2003 season at 46-0 not 44-0.

I might have misscounted one of the matches at state or something. I just took that state results with your record on it. Either way, it was a great career. Are you wrestling in college?

The records are viewable on the KWCA site. Dustin is listed as having 163 wins. Great career!

Yeah I am at FHSU. This year I wrestled 133. I was undersized since I wrestled my senior year 119.. I made 125 once this year but I didnt want to go through the cutting weight because im a red shirt this year. I lost to our varsity 125 by riding time in the black and gold duel...so next year I will drop down and wrestle 125 were i should be

It would of helped if I would of never wrestled nick peterson.. he game me the most losses out of all the wrestlers I lost to... in two years we wrestled 11 time and he won 6 and I won 5... he beat me out my junior year on the back side in double over time... that was my hardest loss to take

Nice, I like the FHSU wrestling program. I went to school out there from 99 to 03, but was not able to wrestle because of my shoulder. I tore my rotator cuff pretty bad and had surgery on it a couple days after state. Good luck out there, I'll be watching for your results online and maybe watching you if I move back to Hays.

Mr. Dooley - i know those losses to Peterson hurt, but - I'll venture a guess that they have made you a better man and wrestler. What says you?

Congrads on an outstanding HS career and best of luck in college!

PS:

Have you decided on a major yet?

Oh Yea they made me a better wrestler...We learned eachothers style of wrestling and new what was going to happen. So I had get out of my style and try new things, and having a match that goes all 3 periods only winning or losing by one or two each time will help any wrestler out... And thank you I hope college wrestling will be good to me. FHSU is a good fit for me!!! I like all of my teammates and coaches Major is Elementary Ed/ Special Ed but I would also like to Major in Social Work. I would like to be a teacher/coach but I want to work with special ed students for the most part!!!
