UNI Rolls Past South Dakota State, 42-3

The Panthers won nine matches on the day to improve to 5-5-1 on the year and 3-0 in WWC matches.

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa wrestling squad won its fourth match in its last five tries with a 42-3 dual win over South Dakota State in a Western Wrestling Conference dual Sunday in the McLeod Center.

UNI (5-5-1 overall, 3-0 WWC) won nine of the 10 matches, including bonus points in six of the bouts. SDSU fell to 1-8 overall and 0-5 in WWC matches.

Josh Baldridge notched a 9-1 major decision over the Jacks' Nick Kulseth at 133 pounds to put UNI on top 21-3 in the dual.

UNI will travel to Omaha, Neb., to take on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., before closing out the dual season Feb. 24 at home against North Dakota State.
