Weller lost to Wood (Lansing) and Slyter (Paola) last year when he finished 2nd at state. This year his only loss came from Madl (Blue Valley) at the Bobcat Classic. I would pick him to win this regional. No offense to the other two wrestlers I just think his experience will take him to the top.

cool. just putting forward my bias as well. I always think the real interesting thing about regionals are the guys who have to cut a lot of weight. They have to wrestle all day and a lot of times cant eat or drink much. I have seen wrestlers look absolutely terrible on the first day and look like absolute studs the next. Something to watch out for, especially in the 119-160 range, these guys dont have much to cut to start with.

kansaswrestler6, Parker also beat Derrick at the brute nationals
last year. I think calling his victory over Derrick a fluke is
unfair to Parker. With a pin over Chase Lawrence this year I believe Parker has proven Himself to be one of the top 119#'s in the state.

O im sorry i did not know about that lost at brute nationals. And sorry to Parker if i have offended him, i think the reason why this certain coach said this is that derrick still ended up placing higher than him even though he lost to him. Once again i am sorry i did not say that about Parker i was quoting someone. I have seen Parker wrestle and he is tremendous wrestler definately like you said one of top 119's in the state. So i apologize to Parker personally and anyone else i have offended

Does anyone know what happened in the 130 Kolterman vs Huber match? The Bracket shows Kolterman won by default. I hope Huber did not get injured.

He landed on his elbow sort of funny. Just kind of a freak thing.

Why haven't the brackets been updated? Seems every other regional is finished.
