dont worry about who is good for a first year wrestler. worry about your kid wanting to wrestle again next year. winning that tournament means nothing but learning and wanting to wrestle again is what its about. I do like the idea that they are making it for first year wrestlers only. Last year they wouldnt let my son wrestle cause it was his 2nd year and I looked at the brackets and 2 kids that beat my son were there. I heard it was a fun tournament from our first year kids last year though.
