Hello All. I am at the 5A tournament and in my best Randy and Mike impersentation I will try to do dispatches. We just had the opening ceromonies. Very nice. Venue is nice and seems to be have enough room. The 103 are just about to start. Nice to see Tom Peterman in a corner.

Mr. Disney, is there any way you could post the time that each round is intended to start? Thank You

No upsets at 103. Penka put on a show. Stahl was put on his back late but held on to win. Stokes looks head and shoulders above the crowd at 112

Here is the link for the schedule

And Keller rolls at 119. Lots of good 2/3 matches. 1-4 is going as predicted.

Other than the railing the seats at the SAC aren't bad. I like the combined classes but there is something to be said about being close to the action. Also is nice to everything funneling down to 1 mat 1 final

Plus the SAC hasn't got on as to how to check for food

Ok. Why don't we just give Carrol the team trophy now and get it over with? Evertime I look up a Carrol kid has some one on his back. Mainz just pinned his guy.

Zahm just stuck Hageman in 43 secs in what I was anticpating to be a good match

"Big wheels keep on turning" is the mantra for this first round. We are at 145 w/o anything major to report. Willis pinned Blair in the 1st. Arnold won easily.

Hutch is doing a pretty good job updating the brackets on line. They already have 103-145 updated at http://www.usd308.com/wrestling/wtbrk.htm

Looks like they are keeping up within 20 minutes or so.

Did Corado upset Waur at 112lbs. (That is what the brackets say)

If so,some might say that is a pretty big upset.

Wow. Corado from Pitt at 25-14 beats Wauer from Washington who was 24-2. That would be an upset at 112!

Mario is a stud and Pittsburg has a very tough schedule.!!! He has only been wrestling for a couple of years. But he has given some of our states toughest wrestlers some lumps. He is going to be one to watch for the next few years!

Salas(lib) 27-8 over Seaton (BS)34-2 is a little bit of an upset, although the experience at state can be a factor. I watched Salas give a tough match to John Keller last year. If Penka can't end it early, Salas' strength and experience may get him to the finals. But Penka is pretty good at pinning in the first so it should be a good match
