Salina South is having a good day. Plott over Dakin, Sokol over Harding and Colvin over stults. None of those are a huge upset but to win them all is still impressive.

How about Cade Blair (VC) over Colby Crank (Huth). That is a pretty big upset. Not taking anything from Blair, I heard Crank was one of those kids who had the flu all week.

Gardner is having a tough day both curtis' having only two losses and neither making the semis. At least Eisenberg and Stokes are looking good.

I know this is an argument made every year in 5A, but once again the regionals were unbalanced. 30 of the 56 semi finalists and 19 of the 28 finalists came from the Valley Center Regional. They need to do something. Either they need to go to two 16 man regionals like some have suggested or find some way to seperate the teams other than using geography.
