Thanks Jeff, Tanner Litterell must be one tough customer, Austin O'conner is a triple crown winner! Figured he would win it for sure.

Two more for the list:
12/80 Bryce Shoemaker 12/95 Hunter Haralson
Both won in impressive fashion, if not dominating their brackets.

Patrick, I also thought Austin would win it, he is a great wrestler and exciting to watch. I have never seen Litterell wrestle but after watching him tech Chad Red I was very impressed. Litterell ended up taking 2nd in OK this year in a very tough bracket. I will also add from watching this match with O'conner it was closer than the 5-0 score would indicate. 1st period there was an incredible scramble where Litterell ended up on top for the 5pt move. Very exciting match.
Take care.

Liberty does not have the same weights or age cut off as Kansas and Oklahoma. 6U would be 40 or 45, which I think encourages cutting weighting. While I'm on my liberty soap box...how lame were the awards this year? 2nd and 3rd received a picture of a plaque (sp), and 1st was not the wonderful trophy it has been in the past. Very disappointed. Jake would have rather received a medal instead of his picture of 2nd.

Beeson I agree, Derby and Maize had better Medals than this National Tournament. I guess maybe they figure bragging rights are worth more than the hardware.lol.

Yeah, but three times the entry fee and three to four times the entrants. I would think they could do better.
