Well run. Good Competition. Good weather really helped that people could go outside.

All in all it was good. Long day, but good. And it was nice that the air was on so we didn't have to sit in a hot steamy gym, which we were all anticipating since the weather was soo nice outside. I did notice that on Mat 8 the ref let alot of stuff slide and there were alot of unnecessary injuries. But that's the ref's fault not your club's.. you guys ran a nice, smooth tournament especially with as many people were there.. thank you!!! We will be back next year.

I would say all things considered it was a very smooth tournament. 1100 kids, wow! To me that was a bit of a gamble, good thing the weather cooperated. Two comments from my 8u wrestler were 1) awesome medals 2) wish I coulda got a gatorade after my finals match. We knew how many kids were coming and we were prepared to stay late, heck even left mom and little brother at home just to make it easier. We will see ya next yr, overall good job. Thanks

We didn't get out of there until 7:30. My son had a scratch on his first match so he waited about 4 1/2 hours to wrestle. He had excellent competition. I think the tournament was well run - just the sheer number of kids made the wait between matches exceptionally long. Also, it's the first time that I have ever commented, "This gym is really cold!" (I am NOT complaining!) and the medals were "cool"! Thanks, Ottawa

One of our kids had a finals match at the very end, it was around 7 when we were going to get his bracket at the head table. They were pullin tape when we finished wrestling.

My only question is that we are two weeks away from subs and is not about time to group all the kids together? That probably would have given the kids more matches instead of two matches in eight hours.

I do agree at mat 8 there were some stuuff that reff let slide like a kid from ottawa punched the kid from spring hill after the match was over on the mat.And a kid from paloa lified a kid up over his head and like slamed him down on the mat.other than that i thought it was great.my son thinks the meadles were ausome!

not to downplay bad sportsmanship because I am a sticklar for good sportsmanship, and that boy from ottawa is my son and he deffineately heard it from me out on the mat right after it happened. But the boy from springhill did shove him first and it wasn't a punch he pushed him in his face. the springhill kids dad and myself talked afterwards and there are no hard feelings as they are still friends. those 2 boys battle it out every week and the springhill boy always ends up winning, so my son is pretty frustrated! I personally apoligised to the boy and if my son didn't he will!!
