Pls forgive me if this has been asked and answered, but will Ottawa accept weigh-ins from sub-district tourneys like last year? What exactly do we need from Subs?

I would like information on this as well. If we can use Subdistrict weigh-in, it would help tremendously with what promises to be a jam-packed weekend for lots of folks, trying to coordinate between their Subdistrict Tournaments and 6&U State.

I was told they would but you need it in writing signed by the subdistrict director. Hopefully this won't be a problem to get?!

I got this in response to an email to Renee Carver of Ottawa. This should answer the question for everybody.

If you want to utilize your weigh-ins at subs you need a document with the wrestlers name, age, weight class and club name on it. When they weigh-in, have the attendant write down their EXACT weight for me and have the sub-district director sign it. You still have to show up during weigh-in times, either sat. night or sun. morning to "check in".

They will not accept weighins from satelite locations. They started another topic regarding this.
