I will be sending out certificates this week, please make me aware of any mistakes.

to bad all the coaches dont submit there kids i see several missing

We can only submit kids who qualify....

Does anyone else see the irony? This statement is a grammatical disaster under a thread about the All-Academic Team.

What GPA is required to qualify?

3.0

Does a 3.0 qualify for first team? It's great that academics are recognized.

I also wish every coach would nominate their deserving athletes. We really make a point of it here at Colby and have had several really quality wrestlers also earn academic honors. The accomplishments of our seniors that made the team this year on the mat and in the classroom are truly something to be proud of!

The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association is sponsoring their 19th annual All-Academic Wrestling Team. The KWCA All-Academic Team Standards are as follows:

1. Senior standing in high school
2. Minimum of ten (10) matches on varsity level
3. Season record of .500 or above
4. GPA for 10th, 11th, and first semester 12th grades:
a. First team G.P.A. – 3.5-4.0
b. Honorable mention – 3.0-3.49
5. Wrestler’s G.P.A. must be certified by Guidance Counselor or Principal

Is it to late for this I turned my stuff into the AD on Feb.27th and i can see nothing was done with it after that. Can kids still be put on the list or is it to late?

For curiosity's sake, is there any place that has an all-time listing of the academic teams?

I don't have one, that doesn't mean that there isn't one, it just means that i don't have one.
