Too funny, just left grandma in charge at the house. They boy is walking without a limp. I told Grandma no basketball but she does have permission to throw the football around today. Bubble wrap is an excellent idea!

Ok...so the night of weigh in for subs I see my son Skate Boarding ...UGH!!! I flipped out a little...I thought we had agreed that there would be NO Heely's...NO Skate Boarding...No Motor Cycle riding...probably the only time of year that I have suggested a nice round of video games! He got a new skate board for christmas...has only been allowed to use it once or twice...didn't even put it together until 2 weeks ago...I keep putting him off saying after Brute we'll go to the skate park....

I caught my son juggling 2 chain saws and a stray cat while standing in a hammock last night. I sure hope that cat didn't have ringworm.

I sure wish somebody would pick up this dang stray black cat hanging around my house the last few weeks, getting annoying having to walk under the ladder, over the broken mirror, to make sure the cat crosses my path every time i leave my house.

I know this is a joke topic, but its a little like what we used to say "kidding on the square". A lot of us need to take wrestling a little less seriously. The past 2 years, we took our son sking in Colorado between district and state. He spent the week before state on double black diamond runs. This year, he and a couple of friends are backpacking a portion of the Appalachian Trail in The Great Smokey Mountains before heading to Virginia Beach for senior nationals. I admire the balance he has in his life.

LancerLou, I beg to differ, one can hardly compare skiing double black diamonds to windjammers thrill seeking chain saw cat juggling in a hammock psycho kid! Double black diamonds do sound fun though!

Jammer,
That is one talented kid, look at the bright side,if wrestling does'nt pan out I bet Barnum and Bailey would be interested in that kind of act. Wish my two sons would find a feature like that instead of knife throwing, (at each other) lol.

Well, it all started with regular cat juggling. He seemed to have an aptitude for it, so his mom says "Let's add a couple of chain saws." One thing leads to another and the next thing you know it's kind of a money maker during the wrestling off season. We go from county fair to county fair and charge five bucks to watch the kid defy death. Not to brag or anything, but last year we pulled down about $400 net.

No, but it's after tax. We set up a corporation called Chain Saw and Cat Juggling R Us to help with the taxes, but you know there's only two things for certain, especially with a company of this nature.

Ever had the cat hit the chain saw, juggling 3 objects is hard enough, how would he handle 1/2 a cat. Now he would have the cat by the a_ _!!!!!

Hey, you guys jinxed my kid!! I was reading these posts thinking it was a good thing he hadn't attempted to do anything "dangerous" lately - when he and his sister came in to tell me he thought he broke his thumb!! (seriously!) They were playing catch with the softball and he dove to catch it and hurt his thumb. Luckily, a little TLC, Ice and Tylenol did the trick. By the time practice rolled around this evening he was magically healed. He did say, however, that wrestling with a kid who's 28 lbs. heavier than him made him feel that he'd broken it about 3 more times. (8 year olds can be very dramatic!)

LOL I am tempting fate. I let my son play baseball all afternoon (it was just too nice out to say no!) But I let him go to a sleepover tonight, they were taking the kids rollerskating.

What age/weight group is he in? Maybe you have presented us with a new tactic... Send cake, pop, candy, pizza, etc. to wrestlers - no need to worry about catastrophic accidents we'll just feed them really well!! LOL...
