Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle capitol plaza room for friday night for sale

We booked and paid for a room at the capitol plaza in topeka. Our son got injured and will not beable to wrestle. we can not get a refund on the room, all we can do is transfer the reservation to someone else's name. The room is for Friday 21st, it was booked for 2 adults 2 children. All we are asking is $60 just to get a little bit of our money back out of the room. Are you kidding me? They won't refund your money? We do a lot of traveling with our daughter for gymnastics (for 7 years now) around the country and we have NEVER been told we couldn't get or money back on a reserved room unless you just don't show up or you cancel after their cancellation policy (which is usually 24 hours or less). We have had to cancel for broken feet, arms etc.. That is ridiculous. I'm sure you will be able to sell it but you should not have to. Did you use a credit card? I could see maybe if you paid by cash but....

when we went to high school state, my wife booked a hotel through an online agency also. we found out that we were staying at a different location but same hotel chain then our wrestling team, when we tried to change it they told us we would have to pay for another hotel and no refund on the first one. i dont know if all online agencies are the same but we used expedia and that is thier policy.
