Greensburg is in Kansas and was devastated by a tornado last summer.

Just an idea, but I know that Greensburg doesn't have alot of extras--like shoes and headgear. Maybe if there are some club members or clubs that have a few extra items, we could gather them in Topeka and get them to Greensburg.

i actully worked in greensbur the tuesday through sunday after that tornado. met a lot of great people out there. they could defenitley use anything. to actually be there it was a scene i will never forget. i am in with the donation thing whoever gets that started. I am sure nix has already posted something about that and would also be in for it.

i know while i was there working the golf team recieved new golf clubs and shoes just before the state tournament and I do believe they won the state golf tournament that year. dont know if we could get something that big but anything would be good for their club.

Just a thought, but maybe we could check with some of the vendors this weekend about getting something like gift cards--any amount would help. If we did it that way in addition to the items we have, the Greensburg club could then get anything else that they need that we couldn't donate to them. I don't know if it would work, but is something to consider maybe?????
