It looks like CJ Napier won 7-4 in his first match on the backside to insure a top 8 finish at Junior 135! After winning one match on the backside, Tyler Stokes lost on a DQ. Any details?

At least some of the seniors are currently on an aircraft carrier. I guess they are enjoying a little sight seeing before the wrestlng begins tomorrow.

Hello All ... CJ's loss was a defensive struggle both tried attempts at the takedown but didn't score. His opponent opted down to start the 3rd, CJ immediately cut him. Valiant effort but a loss just the same!
Sorry, I did not see Tyler's match!
CJ was fairly convincing in his win that guaranteed him All-American status!!
All the Seniors made weight and are just waiting for the competition to begin at 10 am (edt)!
The Elvin's and Gary Ulmer joined Kathy Jo and I for an evening meal at Beach Bully's Bar-B-Q! For Virginia ... it was pretty good chow!!

C.J. Napier lost his 10 pm match to a State Champ from New York. In the first period of tie-breaker, Napier was in control for 25 seconds and then gave a reversal. C.J. had a chance but the New Yorker was riding. The New Yorker, earned a stall warning and a subsequent stall point. But gaining the 2nd stall point was too much to ask!!
Napier wrestles for 5th later today!

Jacob Wagner of Manhattan has had to withdraw due to an injury! My information is that he previously injured his shoulder and tweaked it again!!
Wrestling has now begun!!

Aaron Arb used his great mat skills to win his opening bout, 9-4. Arb from Labette County HS used a couple of reversals and near falls for his scoring!
Joey Hambleton suffers a 2-5 loss. Joey was victimized by a couple of takedowns.
It looked bleak for Sabetha's Jordan Meyer! With 0.10 to go in the first period Jordan was trailing 0-7. He must have found a can of spinach in his singlet because he was a different wrestler from that point on! Jordan wins the match!!

Collin Hase was in control of the entire bout! No doubt more control than the 4-1 score might indicate!!
Dodge City's Jesse Barber looked great ... Barber wins by a major decision!
Taylor Dwyer fights valiantly but loses, 0-3.
Jordan Keller (my roomie) is never in jeopardy and pins!

Thanks ... and that is another plug for TrackWrestling! With TW often times it is the other way around!
I am trying to keep track of 12 mats from my computer on the floor of the arena! I will try ... but of course I can't cover all our wrestlers!
